Big Ten Releases TV Schedule

The Big Ten Network has released their schedule for the 2014-2015 season with more coverage than ever before. The matches will be shown live on the network and/or on BTN Plus (the subscription paid internet stream). A lot of the BTN Plus matches are tape delayed broadcast at a later date as part of "Student U". So don't worry fans we will have plenty of time to yell at announcers who sound like they are watching their first wrestling match. 

There are of course many great duals to look forward to. Most notably are the duals moved to campus arenas that include: Iowa at Minnesota, Iowa at Penn State, and every home Iowa dual. However, I'm disappointed to see the Minnesota at Ohio State (in their arena) is not scheduled to be broadcast live. That match will certainly feature two teams in the top 5 in the country in front of a crowd of well over 10,000 people. That should be shown live if that's the case in any sport. 

Cheers to another great year of watching wrestling! The Big Ten Network coverage has done a lot for college wrestling.
