Juan Adams Clutch Again!

For the second time this season a dual for Virginia Military Institute came down to the big guys, and Juan Adams came through with 2nd period pins. On Wednesday night, the pin helped VMI defeat Sacred Heart by a final score of 26-18. 

A key match earlier was Bloodround favorite Shabaka Johns winning in overtime 8-6 over John Vrasidas. Vrasidas took a 4-0 lead in the first, but Shabaka rallied all the way back to tie the match forcing overtime. In sudden victory, our man got the takedown for the pivotal win. 

VMI will be in action on Saturday with duals against Harvard and American.
