Whitney Conder Wins Gold in Day 2
/The US Army's (Go Army!) Whitney Conder defeated a very game Alma Valencia (Mexico) to win the Pan Am Games on Thursday evening. Out of the five weight classes contested USA Wrestling walked away with three medals as Robby Smith and Alyssa Lampe won bronze medals. Due to the blind draw Smith faced megastar Mijain Lopez (Cuba) in the semis.
