Wolverines Defeat Beavers 27-9

So I get out of work late and drive 30 minutes in traffic to pick up my daughter from basketball. I then go to the store quick and pick up a pizza to bring home so I can fire up the BTN stream to watch the dual. My internet/TV was out and it was devastating. Had I known previously, I could have adjusted my schedule. Anyways, I'm posting blind here really with the only thing I saw was the highlights posted by Michigan's Twitter.

The teams split the two marquee matches of the evening. Bresser was able to get a 3rd perioud takedown to beat the struggling Youtsey. Coon gave up a late takedown, but that was not enough to catch him winning 6-3 over familiar opponent Dhesi.

While Youtsey improved as the year went on last season, Bruno was strong all season in a very tough weight class. This year's struggles continue with a 12-6 loss to unranked Joey Palmer. Michigan's placement in the conference and national tournaments depend on their top to bottom strength. Having two of their returning All-Americans struggle is concerning.

Michigan will travel to Columbus for their rivalry dual on Saturday at 5pm. It will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network.
