USA Wins the World Cup

For the first time since 2003 the World Cup will remain in the United States. Behind 4-0 performances by Jordan Burroughs, Kyle Dake, David Taylor, and Kyle Snyder the Americans turned away competition at Carver-Hawkeye Arena all weekend. 

Azerbaijan brought a very well-credentialed squad, but the depth of the American lineup was too much to match. The event was really a can't miss affair with USA essentially having two legends in Jordan Burroughs and Kyle Snyder lead a batch of guys emerging into their primes. The Carver-Hawkeye crowd roared often for the efforts.
