World Cup Draws Announced

The draws for the pools for the 2015 World Cup for Freestyle were released this week. After a disappointing 2014 World Championships, the United States are in the World Cup since they are the hosts. The event will be held April 11-12 at The Forum, in Los Angeles. 

USA draws in to Group A along with Russia, Cuba, and Mongolia. Russia took 2nd last year at the World Cup before dominating the World Championships. The Russians don't always send their #1 team to this event. The Americans took 3rd at the World Cup last year before tying for 9th. 

Group B features defending champions Iran drawn in with Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Of course, always something weird seems to happen when Iran travels to the United States.
